By Todd F. Cope
I look at the world around me
With all of its sadness and pain,
Where so much time is consumed
In the endless pursuit of gain;
Isn’t there more to this life—
Aren’t there more important things
Than this never-ending quest
For the wares that money brings?
So I ponder.
The real beauty of this earth is found
In the time spent with those whom I love,
And together we’re simply preparing
For forever with Father above—
